There are 209 days left until the world final of the Bocuse d'Or
in Lyon France, and the first of the final ingredients has been revealed to the competitors. Gavin Kaysen, the US team's coach, tweeted earlier this week "we have beef filet, fish still not known." According to the British team captain Adam Bennett, competitors were also told they would be able to use oxtail, ox cheek and chuck. The fish element of the competition will not be announced until November, giving the chefs just 2 months to practice and perfect that component.
