Bravo has announced the contestants for Top Chef Masters season five, premiering July 24th. Celeb chef Curtis Stone is back as the series host alongside new head critic Gail Simmons, with returning judges James Oseland, Ruth Reichl and Francis Lam being joined by a new judge, food and dining editor Lesley Suter. Another new addition is the online companion series-ette, Battle of the Sous Chefs, hosted by Hugh Acheson in which each Master has his or her sous chef compete in an online competition. The results of each online episode directly carry into the Masters episodes, awarding them advantages if their sous chef wins and throwing up obstacles if the sous chef loses.
