The Peabody Awards are an incredibly prestigious broadcasting honor which celebrate and highlight stories that matter in electronic media — the digital equivalent of a Pulitzer.

The 2014 winners have been announced and 2 programs in the food world are among those honored: The farm-to-fork PBS series A Chef's Life featuring Vivian Howard and CNN's Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain. On Twitter, Howard said ""A Chef's Life" won a freaking PEABODY....Speechless" and Bourdain proclaimed "Wow! #PartsUnknown wins a Peabody Award! Congrats to all my brilliant colleagues @ZPZProduction! Feeling proud!" Congrats to all!
