Very Gouda Grits
|6 cup • Quaker Grits|
|1 gal • Milk|
|2 cups • Gouda • shredded|
|1 cups • Roasted Green Chile • diced, optional|
|Vegetable stock as needed|
|salt as needed|
1. Bring milk to a slow boil with a large pinch of salt. And add grits slowly whisking constantly.
2. Reduce heat to low and allow to cook for 45 minutes.
3. Add cheese (and roasted chiles, if desired).
4. Add stock until desired consistency has been reached.
5. Season well.
