Homemade Mustard Recipe

3 tbsp • Yellow mustard seeds
2 1/2 tbsp • Brown mustard seeds
1/3 cup • White wine • (drinking quality)
1/3 cup • Apple cider vinegar
1 • Shallot • minced
3/4 tsp • Salt
1/4 tsp • White pepper
1 tsp • Dry mustard powder
In the jar of a blender, add the yellow mustard seeds, brown mustard seeds, wine, vinegar, shallot, salt, and pepper, and process until mustard has obtained the desired texture and thickness; it is equally delicious whether you leave it chunky or smooth. For a thicker texture, add mustard powder. Store in an airtight, non-reactive container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
