Sour Soup With Fried Potatoes

Step 1
2 cup • Beef or Chicken stock
4 tbsp • Quince vinegar
1 leaf • Laurel
1 dash • Caraway seeds
Blend 2 cups of beef or chicken stock with:

4 tbsp. of Quince Vinegar.

1 laurel leaf.

1 dash of caraway seeds.

Let the mixture boil for 30 minutes.
Step 2
2 tbsp • Spelt flour
1 cup • Sour cream
• Ground pepper
1.1 lb • Potatoes
1 tbsp • Lard
Mix 2 tbsp. of spelt flour with 1 cup of sour cream and add it to the soup to give it a creamy texture.

Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.

Boil 1.1 lb of potatoes, season them and cut them into fine slices.

Heat 1 tbsp. of lard up and fry the potato-slices in lard until crispy.

Serve the sour soup together with the potato-slices.
