Rum Apple Pear Crisp

Step 1
2/3 cup • AP flour
2/3 cup • Sugar, dark brown
6 tbsp • Butter • cut up
1/3 cup • Pecans • chopped
Using a pastry blender, blend flour, sugar and butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Toss with chopped pecans. Set aside.
Step 2
4 each • Apples, golden delicious • peeled, cored, sliced
• Pears, bartlett • peeled, cored, sliced
2 tsp • Cinnamon
1 tbsp • Sugar
1/4 cup • Dark rum
Toss together apples, pears, cinnamon, and sugar. Pile into 9" x 13" baking dish. Pour rum over all. Sprinkle crumb mixture over the fruit. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
