Southwestern Baked Beans

Step 1
1 can • Pinto Beans #10 CAN • drain,reserve liquid
1 qt • Onions • small dice
20 piece • Bacon • small dice
2 tbsp • Oregano • chopped
2 whole • Jalapenos • small dice
1/2 cup • Cider vinegar
2 tbsp • Ground Cumin
1 cup • Brown sugar
1.5 pt • Hickory BBQ Sauce
1/4 cup • Chopped garlic
2 tbsp • Chipotle Paste
• Chopped Cilantro & Tomato
Place Rondeu on medium heat and render bacon until crispy.

Remove with slotted spoon, saving fat in the pan. Return to heat.

Saute onions, garlic, and jalepenos till onons are translucent.

Deglaze with cider vinegar, add beans, 1/2 the liquid and the remaining ingredients.

Bring up tp slow simmer and shut off heat. Let cool.
