Chinese Shrimp-Stuffed Mushrooms

Step 1
1 tsp • Sugar
2 tbsp • Soy sauce
2 tsp • Cider vinegar
.5 tsp • Sesame oil
.5 tsp • Garlic • finely chopped
2 tbsp • Water
Dumpling Sauce: stir until sugar disolves
Step 2
.25 lb • Shrimp peeled - and deveined
1 each • Bacon
1 tsp • Corn starch
.25 tsp • White pepper
1 tbsp • Cilantro • chopped
1 tbsp • Scallion • finely chopped
2 tbsp • Dumpling sauce
Combine shrimp, bacon, cornstarch, and white pepper in a food processor. Pulse until mixture is coarsely chopped. Add cilantro, scallion, and dumpling sauce; pulse briefly to incorporate.
Step 3
24 each • Mushrooms-Shitake-caps
Salt and Pepper to taste
• Asian red chili sauce
Season mushroom caps with salt and pepper. Fill the caps with filling and arrange on a greased sheet tray. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot drizzled with chili sauce.

the directions for step 2 say "chicken" but there is no chicken in the ingredient list . . . which is correct ??
