Michelin unveiled the full lineup of starred restaurants in the 2015 Bay Area guide this week. Benu and Saison both got bumped up to three stars, from their prior respective two star designations, joining the Bay Area’s other two three-star restaurants: the French Laundry and the Restaurant at Meadowood. And despite a major fire that has left it closed since July, the stellar track record and chef-owner David Kinch’s diligent updates on the rebuilding process of Manresa helped the restaurant hold on to it's two stars.
