The theme of the latest World's Fair, Expo Milano 2015, is "feeding the planet, energy for life." With the global population projected to pass 9 billion by 2050, Expo organizers want to start a global conversation now about sustainability, biodiversity and food security. Award winning Alaska chefs Kirsten and Mandy Dixon from Within The Wild are traveling from their extremely remote backcountry kitchen to highlight the wild seafood cuisine of Alaska. They've set up a GoFundMe account to help achieve the goal of sending three additional young chefs from their team to help foster awareness and enthusiasm for sustainable Alaskan wild, local and foraged food.
