Still No Known Cause in European E Coli Outbreak

In case you haven't been watching the news, there is an E Coli outbreak happening right now in Germany with scares across Europe and even concerns of spread to the US. A few days ago, authorities thought they had pinpointed the culprit-all signs pointed to various sprouts grown on a farm in the Uelzen area, between the northern cities of Hamburg and Hannover Germany. However this marks the second time authorities names a source for the outbreak only to later retract their findings. To date, 22 people have been killed and mroe than 2,200 have been made sick by the new, evolved e coli bacteria.
