The Culinary World Loses an Important International Chef

Last week, Chef Santi Santamaria collapsed in his Singapore restaurant, Santi, and has passed away. Chef Santi, the first Catalan chef to be awarded three Michelin Stars, was self taught and became one of the most significant chefs of his generation. He had earned seven Michelin Stars before his career ended and helped shape today's international culinary environment.
