House Passes School Lunch Bill

Today the House of Representatives passed a bill that will improve the quality and availability of lunches to school kids in the US. Months ago, the Senate passed Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act so now the legislation will go to President Obama for signing. No one is expecting a veto as this had been a top priority for the current administration.
For an overview of the bill's bullet points, see Rep. George Miller's site.

Head starts and Day Care promotes healthier and nutritional meals than School food. Hopefully the Arstocrats in Board of Education will finally provide Quality over Quantity.
