Help for a Fellow Chef

A charity dinner is being held for New England mentoring chef Roland Czekelius. Chef Roland, working at the Stoweflake Resort and Spa, and formerly involved with Stowe Mountain Resort and New England Culinary Institute, was recently diagnosed with cancer. Aside from the medical effects of this illness, Roland will face significant unexpected expenses, and to assist with these expenses a fundraising dinner will be held on November 10.

Thanks to generous donations from Sysco Food Service and Trattoria la Festa 100% of the dinner proceeds will go to benefit the cause. Cost for the dinner is $35 per person. Local celebrity chefs are donating their time and skills to prepare a memorable dinner, while friends have offered to volunteer as wait staff. All gratuities will be donated. Please support our colleague in any way you can.

Tax deductible contributions will be managed by the Stowe Area Foundation Endowment, Inc. and will be accepted the night of the event or may be made payable to safe and sent to:
