This Saturday the Animal Protection & Rescue League is planning protests outside of Thomas Keller's Per Se, Bouchon Bakery in LA, and The French Laundry in Yountville with all the usual fanfare & dramatic signs...again showing us they would rather harass chefs known for responsible sourcing than go after Tyson Poultry (remember

UPDATE: Grub Street got the following statement from Keller's rep.
The Thomas Keller Restaurant Group consistently endeavors to make extremely conscientious decisions regarding all suppliers with whom we work, and our chefs have specifically selected to source from the most ethical purveyors possible. We will keep within full accordance of all legal mandates should the states of California and New York pass future legislation regarding Foie Gras.
