The Sustainable Restaurant Association is implementing a new green/sustainability ratings system for the UK restaurant industry. It's still unclear how restaurants and diners will embrace the new ratings system, but it's supposed to "be judged on very rigorous standards." Factors to determine the ratings measure how restaurants source their food, treat their workers, deal with waste, monitor energy use, and connect with the community. For more details, check out
