Friday Happy Hour: Eastside Story

This week's Friday Happy Hour cocktail comes from Ranjini Bose of Seamstress, Pamela Wiznitzer’s new Upper East Side cocktail den. Ranjini uses a lot of culinary inspirations when creating her cocktails, often looking at dessert recipes or exploring the flavor profiles of curries. The Eastside Story takes inspiration from the local ingredients of New York City. Featuring Sichuan-infused Grey Goose vodka and horseradish, Eastside Story's locally inspired ingredients give a new meaning to cocktail with a kick.

2 oz Sichuan-pepper-infused GREY GOOSE vodka
.5 oz Meletti Amaro
1 spoon horseradish
.5 oz lemon juice
.5 oz chamomile syrup
to garnish

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake vigorously with ice and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with crushed/ground Sichuan Peppercorn.
