James Beard award winning chefs and restaurant owners Elisabeth Prueitt and Chad Robertson are a power couple to say the least.
They opened artisanal bakery Tartine in San Francisco in 2002. Since then, they’ve opened a few more locations including last year’s highly anticipated Tartine Manufactury, an all day café in a former commercial laundry facility.
Prueitt had published Tartine in 2006 and Robertson penned Tartine Bread in 2010 and Tartine Book No 3 in 2013. Prueitt’s second book, Tartine All Day hit the shelves in April 2017 and was written with Jessica Washburn and Maria Zizka. Her anxiously awaited book includes 200 recipes (with 46 adapted to be gluten-free) and ideas for every meal plus desserts.
