|6 each granny smith apples|
|1 tbsp ground cinnamon|
|1/2 cup brown sugar|
|1/2 granulated sugar|
|2 tbsp butter|
|1/4 cup water|
|1 tbsp lemon juice|
1. Sauté the apples in the butter
2. Add the sugar and cinnamon and allow to simmer for 5 minutes or until apples are just tender.
3. Add the water and allow to reduce until syrupy.
4. Add the lemon juice to stop cooking process.
