Dry Rubbed Tri-tip

Step 1
1 tsp • Paprika
1 tsp • Onion powder
2 tsp • Chili powder
2 tsp • Salt kosher
Combine all dry spices.
Step 2
12 oz • Tri-tip beef
4 tbsp • Seasoning mixture
Trim tri tip into 3- 4 oz loins or 2-6 oz loins, save trim for tri-tip sausage.Coat the loins in the spice mixture and let rest at room temperature until ready to cook.
Step 3
1 oz • Olive Oil blend 80/20
Heat saute pan, add oil and allow to heat then add tri-tip loin.Sear to medium rare then let rest before slicing.
