The 73 Triple Crown

Inspiration: One of the most notable horses in the history of the Kentucky Derby is Secretariat. As serendipitous as it is, Secretariat won the Derby and the Triple Crown in 1973. This just so happens to be the name for elm's most popular signature drink, "The 73". To coincide with the three races of the Triple Crown, I have incorporated three different types of Whiskeys: Bourbon, Rye, and the newly popular Japanese whiskey to give a sweetness, edge, and balance. The hopped pineapple syrup is an ode to my favorite horse in Saturdays race; Hoppertunity. This is a developed and refreshing cocktail that any lady in a lovely hat and man in a seersucker suit would enjoy on race day.
