Butterscotch Sauce

Step 1
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Light corn syrup
1/4 cup Unsalted butter
1 tsp Cider vinegar
1/2 cup Heavy cream
2 tsp Vanilla
Bring sugar, corn syrup, and water to a boil over moderate heat, until sugar is dissolved. Continue to boil mixture without stirring, but swirling in pot until it obtains a golden caramel color. Remove from heat and add butter vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Swirl until butter is melted. Add cream and vanilla, stir for one minute. Cool sauce to room temperature.
