Boston Baked Beans

Step 1
12 lb • White beans
Boil the beans in light salted water for 10min.
Step 2
2 lb • Bacon or Salt Pork • diced
2 cup • Onions • diced
Then saute bacon and onion in bacon fat.
Step 3
1 lb • Brown sugar
1 pt • Malt vinegar or cider
4 cup • Molasses
1/2 gal • Ketchup
1 qt • Malt Syrup
1 1/2 gal • White beans cooking liquid
Dry Mustard to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste
Add brown sugar and malt vinegar, cook slowly then add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil then add the beans. Cook in 325F oven for 6-8 hours.
