Soft Flour Tortillas

Step 1
2 cup • All-purpose flour
1.5 tsp • Salt
1.5 tsp • Baking powder
4.5 tbsp • Lard
6 oz • Hot water
Mix flour, salt, and lard into a mealy texture; add water and knead dough to a smooth texture.

Cover and let rest 20 minutes. Divide into gold ball sized pieces and allow to rest for an additional 20 minutes.

Roll into discs by hand and then roll as thin as possible. Grill on both sides on a hot dry grill.
